The drawers are the whole point. Owner after owner says the same thing: they can finally grab the bottle shoved to the back without unloading everything in front of it. The instructions fight you. Assembly isn't hard, but the manual names every part by number and leaves gaps — nothing on building a left versus a right unit, nothing on measuring your clearance.
