I went to YouTube for a 12-minute chili recipe and left with a phone open in another tab. A clip of this thing was blowing up, and instead of double-tapping and moving on like a normal person, I read all 106 Amazon reviews to play spoilsport. Mostly couldn't. It's 4.1 stars, and the hype largely holds. Just buy from a seller who'll take back a locked one — some do arrive locked.

CONDITION IS THE PART RENEWED GETS RIGHT
Condition leads every positive review — unscratched, plain white box, indistinguishable from new. Setup barely registers: SIM swaps and transfers from older Motorolas, a Pixel 8 and a Moto G take minutes. Battery reports skew good on ordinary days; one owner had 70% left at dinner where their old phone sat at 20%. The standout nobody expects is audio — a buyer who says they've owned dozens of phones called this roughly twice as loud.
THE CARRIER LOTTERY IS THE REAL RISK
The 15% one-star share isn't spread thin, it clusters. Three buyers reported the handset arrived carrier-locked, one with an IMEI flagged as stolen. Amazon's own listing limits new activations to T-Mobile and Verizon and warns AT&T may reject the IMEI. Push the battery — GPS, mileage tracker and a delivery app at once — and half a day is the reported ceiling. And despite Motorola's copy about water protection, this listing's spec sheet says Not Water Resistant. Trust the spec sheet.
